Job summary

BSI Consulting Services in Hamlet, NC seeks an Associate Safety Consultant to join a team of Construction EHS professionals. You will support large projects, conduct site walks, audits, and data collection to uphold contract requirements and safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of construction safety experience with strong OSHA knowledge. Initiative, collaboration, and training delivery are valued for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; related field preferred to support technical understanding.
• Minimum of 5 years construction safety experience (7 years if no degree).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and ability to interpret/apply regulations.
• Certifications such as STSC, CHST, or CSP encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to large-scale construction projects by attending meetings, site walks, and ensuring contract requirements.
• Conduct construction safety field audits and data collection using system platforms.
• Analyze worker health and safety data for trends.
• Educate stakeholders on EHS requirements and best practices.
• Lead incident investigations to drive future improvements and safer work practices.
• Develop training programs and slide decks for construction EHS topics.
