Job summary

BSI is seeking a mid-level Construction EHS Consultant to join our Canton, MS team. You will partner with experienced EHS professionals to promote safe daily work practices, lead training sessions, and drive continuous improvement on large-scale construction projects.

Expect involvement in field audits, data analysis, and collaboration with client and trade partner EHS professionals. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and OSHA knowledge are required, with opportunities for advanced safety

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years construction safety experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required (Environmental Science, OH&S, Engineering, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and ability to interpret regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to large-scale construction projects by initiating and attending meetings, performing site walks, and ensuring contract requirements are in place.
• Perform construction safety field audits and field data collection using system platforms such as Predictive Solutions and Construct Secure.
• Analyze worker health and safety data for trends and improvements.
• Educate stakeholder groups on EHS requirements and best practices.
• Lead incident investigations to drive future safety improvements.
