Job summary

Stantec in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Senior-Level EHS Compliance Engineer/Specialist to lead multi-media permitting and compliance projects for a wide range of clients.

You will develop and maintain client relationships, manage scope, schedule, and budgets, oversee project deliverables, and mentor team members. The role emphasizes air quality regulations (Title V, PSD) and requires regional travel; a PE and ~10 years of EHS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the applicable practicing state.
• Approximately 10+ years of EHS permitting and compliance experience and 1+ years of project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Lead projects and project teams to deliver work within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Oversee and contribute to the preparation of project deliverables.
• Prepare proposals outlining scope, schedule, and budget estimates.
• Coordinate and direct project teams supporting EHS permitting and compliance initiatives.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of project deliverables.
• Lead development and implementation of permitting and compliance strategies.
• Advise clients on monitoring, planning, training, testing, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements.
• Mentor team members and support their professional development.
