Job summary

ERM is seeking a motivated Consulting Senior Associate, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance to join our consulting team in Irvine, California. You will partner with Project Managers and technical experts to deliver EHS compliance, sustainability, and due diligence projects for industrial, tech, healthcare, and other clients.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of environmental health and safety experience in tech, bio-pharma, R&D or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with CA OSHA/EPA regulatory compliance and permitting.
• Strong written and verbal communication; reporting experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel to client sites in Southern California (Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside County).
• Driver's license required; not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform EHS audits, safety risk assessments and help develop programs, procedures, practices and standard work to ensure regulatory compliance and protect employees, including machine guarding and robotics safety.
• Understand compliance requirements for key environmental and safety programs (chemical, laboratory, robotics, laser, electrical, data center, construction safety).
• Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance, sustainability and site investigations.
• Conduct inspections, investigations, safety observations, JSA, and implement mitigation measures to control hazards and risks.
• Perform EHS compliance assessments and implement follow-up actions to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide general on-site EHS support to clients and assist ERM Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers in delivering projects.
