Qualifications

• Five years of IT experience managing an enterprise-level EHR system in a healthcare setting.
• At least two years in lead or supervisory roles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise EHR operations.
• Expertise in clinical documentation, workflow design, and system lifecycle practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise strategy, governance, roadmap, and priorities for the EHR across all Health Care Agency service areas.
• Oversee EHR workflow design, system build, configuration standards, and clinical tools.
• Direct multidisciplinary EHR teams including analysts, informaticists, developers, DBAs, testers, trainers, and partners.
• Ensure EHR workflows and data handling comply with HIPAA and privacy regulations.
• Partner with Analytics to support data quality and population in data warehouses.
• Lead readiness, testing, validation, implementation, and post-release support for EHR updates.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, performance, and escalations.
• Document system decisions and SOPs; maintain knowledgebases.
