Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) seeks a Senior Account Manager, Employee Health & Benefits, to balance client service with strategic planning in a hybrid Raleigh setting. You will coordinate with carriers and vendors, manage enrollment and renewals, and support cost modeling to optimize funding strategies.

The role requires 5+ years in insurance, strong communication, and expertise in multiple funding arrangements. A Bachelor’s degree and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
• 5+ years of relevant insurance industry experience.
• Strong client relations skills and excellent communication.
• Understanding of multiple funding mechanisms: fully insured, level funded, ASO.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage a dynamic workload balancing client service, compliance, and strategic planning.
• Coordinate with carriers, stop‑loss providers, and third‑party administrators.
• Oversee enrollment and renewal processes, benefits verification, and open enrollment.
• Prepare benefit guides and presentations for renewals and client meetings.
• Assist in renewals, cost modeling, and scenario analysis to balance cash flow and risk.
