Job summary

The Dow Chemical Company seeks a Senior EH&S Technician for the Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta site. You will implement EH&S programs, ensure compliance, and train teams on safety best practices as part of Dow's Path2Zero initiative.

Responsibilities include day-to-day EH&S activities, acting as plant resource for procedures, and driving continuous improvement through investigations and data analysis. Canada-based role requires legal work eligibility and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in EH&S/OH&S or related experience.
• Must be eligible to work legally in Canada (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Implements day-to-day EH&S programs using established work processes and standards.
• Ensures EH&S, IH, and H&S aspects are compliant and supports area as section owner.
• Acts as the plant resource for procedures, guidelines and standards.
• Serves as the plant contact for Environmental, IH, and H&S issues.
• Coaches teams and individuals on EH&S tasks and activities.
• Supports in achieving area or plant EH&S goals.
• Ensures timely completion of compliance tasks.
• Performs environmental, IH monitoring, data collection, analysis and reporting.
