Job summary

Dow Chemical Canada is seeking a Senior EH&S Technician for the Fort Saskatchewan site. You will implement EH&S programs, serve as plant resource for procedures, and ensure compliance with environmental, IH and H&S practices as part of the Path2Zero initiative.

In this role you will coach teams, monitor data, and support site objectives, applying your hands-on expertise to drive continuous improvement while maintaining the license to operate and safe working conditions for all employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of EH&S, OH&S or related experience.
• Canada-based position must be eligible to work in Canada; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Implements EH&S programs and works process documentation.
• Ensures environmental, IH and Health & Safety aspects meet performance goals.
• Acts as plant resource for EH&S procedures, guidelines and standards.
• Serves as plant contact for EH&S issues and coaching on safe practices.
• Coaches teams and individuals on EH&S tasks and development.
• Helps develop and achieve EH&S area or plant goals.
• Ensures completion of compliance tasks.
• Performs EH&S monitoring, data collection, analysis and reporting for the plant.
