Dow Chemical in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, is seeking a Senior EH&S Technician to join the Path2Zero program and support the site’s decarbonization goals. This role requires hands-on EH&S work, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on continuous improvement.

You will implement detailed EH&S programs, ensure compliance, and act as a plant contact for Environmental, IH, and Health & Safety matters. Strong communication and team mentorship are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of EH&S, OH&S, or related experience.
• Canada work eligibility; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Implements detailed, day-to-day EH&S programs.
• Ensures EH&S aspects of operating discipline are applied to meet performance goals.
• Acts as plant resource for EH&S information and guidelines.
• Serves as plant contact for Environmental, IH, and Health & Safety issues.
• Coaches teams and individuals on EH&S tasks.
• Assists in developing and achieving area EH&S goals.
• Ensures compliance tasks are completed.
• Performs/coordinates monitoring, data collection, analysis and reporting for the Plant.
