Qualifikationen

• R.EEG.T registration from ABRET is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of video EEG experience required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• ABRET CLTM monitoring certification is advantageous.
• Certified in BCLS.

Aufgaben

• Oversee and conduct routine, ambulatory, and bedside EEGs, including complex EEG and intraoperative grid hook-up.
• Educate students and shadow EEG training program participants.
• Maintain electrode integrity and archiving of EEG data.
• Ensure high quality recordings by proper electrode placement and impedance checks.
• Monitor and alert physicians to abnormalities requiring immediate attention.
• Perform continuous video EEG (VEEG) monitoring and interpret EEG findings.
