Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee and conduct routine, ambulatory, and bedside EEGs, including complex EEG and video monitoring.
• Maintain electrode integrity throughout hospitalization and manage EEG database.
• Prepare patients for testing, explain procedures, and obtain cooperation.
• Identify and eliminate artifacts; apply activation procedures as needed; monitor related physiologic signals.
• Hook up video-monitoring and intraoperative monitoring with appropriate montages.
• Document patient data and archive records per department procedures.
