NYU Langone Health is seeking a Senior Electroneurodiagnostic Tech to oversee and perform routine, ambulatory, and bedside EEGs, including complex EEG and intraoperative monitoring. The role includes maintaining electrode integrity, archiving and burning patient data, and ensuring high-quality recordings across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The candidate will supervise student shadowing, participate in continuing education, and collaborate with neurologists to interpret and report EEG

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• R.EEG.T registration with ABRET is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ABRET CLTM monitoring certification is advantageous.
• BCLS certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Shadow EEG training students and educate them on EEG Lab operations.
• Participate in continuing education activities and attend weekly reviews.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hospital and vendor systems related to EEG Lab.
• Access patient information including appointment times and reports.
• Hook up and perform VEEG monitoring, routine and ambulatory EEGs.
• Prepare patients and ensure quality of recordings.
