Job summary

El Paso Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced EEG Technologist to perform a range of EEG examinations, including extended monitoring and intraoperative assessments, while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care.

The role requires collaboration with medical staff and departments, effective communication, and adherence to safety standards. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred for patient and family interactions, with a night shift as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have strong oral and written communication skills
• Interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments
• Basic knowledge of EEG procedures and processes
• Ability to read and follow English instructions and safety precautions
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct EEG examinations including basic EEGs and extended monitoring
• Coordinate with department Director, Medical Director, and staff to ensure high quality patient care
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory standards
• Provide age-appropriate patient care and clear communication with patients and families
