Job summary

El Paso Children's Hospital in El Paso, TX seeks an experienced Registered EEG Technologist to perform EEG examinations, extended monitoring, and intraoperative monitoring, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.

The role requires 2+ years of hospital EEG experience, a current BLS, ABRET R. EEG T. registration, and completion of a healthcare clinical program. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; day shift; full-time position.

Qualifications

• Two years of EEG technologist experience in a hospital/healthcare setting.
• Completion of a healthcare program in a clinical area.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC.
• Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) with ABRET.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct EEG examinations including basic EEGs, extended epilepsy monitoring, and intraoperative monitoring.
• Interpret test information and coordinate with department leadership, medical staff, and patient care teams.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory standards and provide age-appropriate patient care.
