Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced Electroneurodiagnostic Technician to perform EEG procedures and generate accurate reports. You will monitor patients, ensure safety, and communicate results to the care team while preparing rooms and maintaining equipment.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree or equivalent experience, with ABRET EEG certification (R EEG T) and BLS, plus at least three years of EEG experience in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree, or equivalent experience, required; CAAHEP END program preferred.
• Three years of EEG experience in a patient care environment.
• ABRET EEG certification (R EEG T) and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs electroneurodiagnostic procedures according to facility policies and procedures.
• Completes technical EEG reports and maintains accurate medical records.
• Monitors patient safety during procedures and communicates findings to care staff.
• Provides descriptive analysis of results and supports other team members.
• Prepares patients and EEG rooms, including electrode application and equipment setup.
