Houghton Mifflin Harcourt seeks a Senior Research Scientist for the Research and Policy Partnerships team. The role focuses on research consulting, applying findings to inform educational decisions, and translating complex analyses into practical guidance for districts and researchers.

You will work with MAP Growth data, design analyses, and present insights to varied audiences while collaborating across HMH and partners to strengthen evidence-informed practice.

Formación

• Ph.D. in education or related field required.
• 5+ years of educational research experience or equivalent.
• Experience with large-scale assessment or longitudinal data preferred.
• Ability to translate research into practical guidance for nontechnical audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a trusted research advisor to school districts and researchers, translating MAP Growth data and research into actionable educational guidance.
• Lead research consulting engagements from scoping through delivery, defining deliverables and communicating findings.
• Use statistical software to access and analyze large-scale assessment data in a Snowflake environment.
• Design and deliver partner-facing presentations and data visualizations.
• Collaborate across NWEA and HMH to create reusable resources and scalable approaches.
