Job summary

inquirED is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to own state and district RFP responses and instructional materials adoption submissions for pre-K/TK, elementary social studies, and elementary core ELA. You will lead the full proposal process—from interpreting solicitation requirements to writing persuasive narratives, coordinating supporting materials, and submitting complete proposals on time.

This role requires exceptional attention to detail and strong writing, with collaboration across Sales,

Qualifications

• Typically 4–7 years of related experience in proposal writing and management.
• Experience managing state or district education RFPs, instructional materials submissions, or comparable public-sector procurements.
• Excellent writing and editing skills as the primary writer of persuasive, evidence-backed proposals.
• Ability to interpret solicitation requirements, build compliance matrices, and write to formal evaluation criteria.
• Strong project management skills coordinating contributors and meeting deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accountability for accuracy of final submissions.
• Ability to work independently and improve processes.
• Ability to learn and explain pre-K/TK, elementary social studies, and elementary core ELA curricula.

Responsibilities

• Own state and district submissions from review to receipt; manage multiple submissions.
• Write executive summaries, curriculum narratives, implementation plans, and other proposals.
• Coordinate contributors, evidence, pricing, certifications, and reviewer access with owners.
• Review and edit materials before circulating drafts and final checks for completeness and compliance.
• Complete portal uploads and coordinate delivery, retaining submission records.
