Job summary

Atlanta Housing is seeking a Senior Education Specialist to provide education case management for CN families with children up to 12th grade. The role includes outreach, eligibility, assessments, development planning, and referrals to services to improve attendance, behavior, and academics.

The position requires managing up to 100 households annually, partnering with the APS liaison to connect families with resources, and maintaining accurate data in AH’s system to support outcomes and KPI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field.
• Four years of case management experience with low-income families.
• Preference for School Social Worker, School Counselor, or Behavioral Intervention Specialist experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver education case management and wraparound services including home visits and assessments.
• Coordinate with CN families, AH Case Manager, and APS Liaison to connect families with resources.
• Manage a caseload of up to 100 households annually.
• Ensure services align with Choice Neighborhoods Education Strategy to improve student outcomes.
• Educate clients on accessing community-based services on an ongoing basis.
• Collaborate with Data Analyst to validate and report on caseload data.
• Achieve KPI metrics as defined by Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
