Job summary

ModSquad is seeking a contract Senior Editorial Writer to ghostwrite executive bylines and develop data-driven editorial on CX, trust & safety, and outsourcing. You will interview internal SMEs, synthesize industry research, and craft pieces under ModSquad leaders’ names for targeted publications.

You’ll build original research, track industry data, and shape narratives that resonate with digital operations leaders, with fully remote collaboration and flexible hours as an independent contractor.

Qualifications

• Experience covering or analyzing CX, trust & safety, outsourcing, or related areas.
• Proven journalism, trade publishing, or research writing background.
• Executive ghostwriting with published examples.

Responsibilities

• Ghostwrite executive articles for owned, social, and external channels.
• Interview internal SMEs, clients, and partners to extract angles and perspectives.
• Develop sponsored editorial and co-authored pieces for targeted trade publishers.
