Qualifications

• 5+ years editing strategic marketing content (SEO content, landing pages, email, PPC assets).
• You can read an SEO strategy document and find weak points in keyword selection, intent mapping, and funnel logic.
• You work independently by default and can make editorial calls without a director during the transition.
• You provide direct, constructive feedback to writers to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Review strategy before content exists by reading briefs, keyword strategies, and funnel plans.
• Edit for strategic alignment, ensuring copy matches persona and funnel stage.
• Create and improve editing standards and QA processes with leadership buy-in.
• Spot ranking opportunities in SERPs and flag related keyword clusters.
• Run quality control before content ships, ensuring clarity, tone, and brand voice.
