Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Writer & Editor to join the Creative team within UXCD, supporting the Digital Success organization. This role blends editorial judgment with strategic writing across videos, emails, Knowledge Articles, decks, and in-product UX copy.

You will shape tone and clarity, coordinate reviews with product managers, designers, and stakeholders, and help scale quality via style guides and AI tools. This role demands ownership and fast adaptation in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in an editorial role, tech or marketing preferred.
• BA in English or related discipline.
• Experience applying Microsoft Style or AP Style and defending editorial choices.
• Ability to research, navigate ambiguity, and make editorial decisions.
• Experience giving feedback to non-editors in a constructive way.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams (customer success, engineering, design, product, marketing).
• Excellent project management, storytelling, and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into plain language for customers.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit video scripts for product how-to and campaigns with stakeholder input.
• Edit Knowledge Articles for clarity and customer flow across multiple review rounds.
• Review email strategy briefs and draft email copy using templates and style standards.
• Create content for executive-facing decks and presentations for Salesforce Innovation Center.
• Craft UX copy across in-product experiences, including microcopy and CTAs.
• Maintain editorial resources and ensure accessibility and plain-language standards.
