Job summary

Forbes Advisor is seeking an Editor to join our paid social and native advertising team. You edit high-volume, platform-native video across Meta, TikTok, and other short-form channels with a focus on performance and storytelling.

You will work closely with Creative, Production, and Post-Production to turn concepts and footage into finished ads that meet brand and legal guidelines. AI editing tools and data-informed iterations are a baseline expectation in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Significant experience editing paid social/direct-response/performance creative.
• Experience cutting both social-native UGC/DTC and editorial content.
• Excellent hands-on editing craft with story, pacing, music, graphics, and finish.

Responsibilities

• Edit a high volume of paid social and native ads across in-person shoots, remote UGC, and AI-generated video.
• Cut across a wide range of styles from UGC to elevated documentary and graphics-driven work.
• Bring editorial judgment to hooks, pacing, structure, music, graphics, captions, and finish.
• Create platform-native creative for Meta, TikTok, and other short-form channels.
