Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Software Developer for a fully remote role. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of EDI, healthcare, or enterprise ops experience, deep Edifecs expertise, and strong AWS skills. U.S.

citizenship and Public Trust (MBI) clearance eligibility are required. The role involves administering Edifecs tools, configuring XEServer/XEngine/TPM, and leading performance tuning, security, and deployment activities.

Qualifications

EDIFECS certification and hands-on EDI experience are required.
8+ years in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise operations with strong AWS work.
Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and enhance the Edifecs platform and EDI flows.
Configure and maintain XEServer, XEngine, TPM, SpecBuilder, and related modules.
Build, deploy, and optimize Edifecs processing rules, and batch workflows.
Analyze and resolve mapping issues, validation failures, and performance bottlenecks.
Manage JVM tuning, logging, and certificate/keystore configurations.
Support releases, environment refreshes, patches, and upgrades; collaborate with teams.
