Job summary

SafeRide Health is seeking a Sr. EDI Business Analyst to ensure accuracy of CMS encounter data submissions and serve as a liaison between business, technical, operations, and compliance teams.

You will analyze, validate, and optimize data pipelines that support our mission of removing barriers to care for underserved populations. This role emphasizes regulatory compliance, data integrity, and collaboration to improve ETL efficiency at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years in healthcare technology, managed care, consulting, or regulatory data exchange.
• Hands-on experience with HIPAA X12 837P Medicaid submissions and CMS/regulatory reporting.
• Understanding of payer operations, claims processing, and encounter lifecycle management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end encounter data management to ensure CMS/state compliance.
• Compile, analyze, and validate submissions for accuracy, completeness, and SLA alignment.
• Develop and maintain documentation and validation frameworks for audits.
• Transform data into HIPAA X12 837P format for submissions.
• Collaborate with account management, data, and operations to gather requirements and oversee deliverables.
• Analyze data to identify trends and optimize ETL efficiency.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance scalability and compliance.
