NationsBenefits is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain enterprise-scale data integration solutions focused on HIPAA X12 EDI transactions, Medicaid encounters, and CMS compliance. You will build high-volume pipelines using Databricks and SQL Server and ensure regulatory alignment.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8+ years in healthcare data engineering, hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and HIPAA standards, and a track record of delivering scalable,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
5–8+ years of data engineering experience in healthcare.
Strong knowledge of HIPAA X12 EDI standards.
Experience with Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and SQL Server.
Experience with Medicaid encounters and CMS processing.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain enterprise-scale healthcare data integration pipelines.
Develop ETL/ELT workflows using Databricks and SQL Server.
Ensure HIPAA compliance, data privacy, and SNIP validation.
Collaborate with Claims, Compliance, Product, IT Security, and partners.
Provide monitoring, logging, and SLA reporting for EDI workflows.
