Job summary

Echodyne seeks a Senior Software Engineer, IoT Platform, to drive edge-to-cloud integration for radar devices. You will lead edge components that run on hardware and connect securely to AWS services, ensuring high performance and reliability in real-world conditions.

You'll mentor engineers, shape the edge-to-cloud interface, and own the end-to-end data journey from device telemetry to cloud ingestion, while balancing latency, bandwidth, and security in a fast-growing hardware/software

Qualifications

• Hands‑on edge development with high-performance languages (Rust/C++).
• Experience with AWS IoT Core, SDKs, and RESTful APIs.
• 3+ years in technical leadership leading a small team.
• Secure coding practices and AuthN/AuthZ on edge devices.
• Understanding of edge-to-cloud data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate edge components with AWS cloud services.
• Design robust interfaces for reliable operation in high-latency environments.
• Collaborate with cloud tech leads to implement secure device-to-cloud contracts.
• Mentor engineers on edge and AWS integration best practices.
• Identify risks early to ensure durable edge-to-cloud bridge.
