CVS Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer specializing in Akamai and edge security to design, implement, and optimize security controls for web applications, APIs, and internet-facing services.

You will work with application, cloud, and network teams to strengthen the enterprise perimeter, investigate incidents, and continuously improve security operations. The role includes on-call rotation and eligibility for CVS Health bonus programs.

Formación

• The candidate has 5+ years in enterprise web app, API, or edge security.
• At least 3 years hands-on with Akamai security technologies or equivalent.
• 3+ years in WAF, bot management, DDoS mitigation, and web/API security.
• 2+ years analyzing telemetry, attack patterns, and implementing countermeasures.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and optimize Akamai security tech including WAF, Bot Manager and DDoS protections.
• Configure and tune WAF protections, bot controls, and API protections.
• Monitor telemetry and lead incident investigations; provide root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into CI/CD and delivery processes.
