Job summary

HP Inc. seeks a Distinguished Technologist to lead the Edge AI platform end-to-end, spanning silicon, firmware, OS, and model lifecycle.

You will set the technical direction for hardware enablement, security, inference, and orchestration, working with product, engineering, and security teams. The role requires deep cross-layer expertise across multi-modal AI, edge-to-cloud handoffs, and scalable lifecycle management for on-device and clustered environments.

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• 12+ years of work experience in software design/architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year technical roadmap for a full-stack Edge AI platform.
• Define cross-layer architecture connecting hardware, OS/security, inference, and model management.
• Architect model management, lifecycle systems, and provenance across a distributed fleet.
• Lead agentic runtimes tooling, sandboxing, and governance for production.
