HP is seeking a Distinguished Technologist, Edge AI Architect in Palo Alto, CA. You will lead end-to-end architectural oversight of a full-stack Edge AI platform, from silicon and hardware enablement to model management and edge-to-cloud orchestration.

The role requires setting technical direction, defining interfaces, and driving alignment with product, firmware, security, and business stakeholders across multi-year roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• Typically 12+ years of work experience in software design/architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year roadmap and architectural vision for a full-stack Edge AI platform.
• Define cross-layer architecture and interface contracts across hardware, OS/security, inference, and model-management.
• Architect model management, registry, lifecycle, and provenance across distributed fleets.
• Define agentic runtimes and tooling for safe production use.
• Drive inference-serving strategy for throughput, latency, and cost.
