Job summary

K.A. Recruiting seeks an experienced Emergency Services RN Manager to join a dedicated healthcare team outside of Roanoke, Virginia.

This full-time role involves leading daily ED operations, staffing, and clinical standard adherence, with on-site responsibilities in a main ED and a freestanding ED. Relocation assistance may be available, and candidates should have an RN license for Virginia (or compact eligibility) along with current BLS, TNCC, and ACLS/PALS within one year of employment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Active Virginia RN license or eligible compact RN license.
• Emergency Department leadership or management experience required.
• Current BLS certification.
• TNCC certification.
• ACLS and PALS required within one year of employment.
• Strong leadership, staffing, and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Emergency Department operations and patient care
• Manage nursing and support staff, including RNs, LPNs, and PCTs
• Assist with hiring, scheduling, performance evaluations, and staff development
• Maintain clinical standards, regulatory compliance, and staff competencies
• Collaborate with the Emergency Department Director to ensure quality patient care
