Amazon.com Services LLC seeks an experienced economic development professional to support investments in the Americas. Based in Seattle with travel, the role will engage with state and local agencies to expand our real estate footprint across North America and manage complex site selection and permitting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline required.
• 8+ years in government, intergovernmental organizations, or private sector focused on economic development, site selection and real estate.
• Preference for leadership in industry associations or coalitions; strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders on new infrastructure locations and site expansion plans.
• Support the site selection process, including due diligence, permitting, and project approvals.
• Develop workforce and public/private partnership opportunities.
• Craft agreements and partnerships to support projects and local communities.
• Manage relationships with economic development organizations and community stakeholders.
• Oversee outside counsel, developers, and other professional service providers.
• Travel to meet with partners and sites as required.
