Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 7+ years in public policy, government relations, community relations, public affairs, corporate social responsibility, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead external engagement initiatives in the assigned region, delivering outcomes with limited guidance.
• Execute and develop strategies that advance Amazon's goals through community engagement and partnerships.
• Create key documents that inform leadership decisions on regional engagement priorities.
• Determine resources and budgets for engagement with communities and stakeholders.
• Develop positions on community issues using regional context and subject-matter expertise.
• Collaborate across Public Policy, InCommunities, Communications, Economic Development, and AWS Infrastructure.
