Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, eCommerce Technology to lead the ecommerce engineering organization and translate strategy into staffed, high-performing pods delivering on roadmaps.

The role emphasizes strong React/Java full-stack expertise, experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or WebSphere Commerce, and the leadership of multiple teams in a digital retail environment. Expect collaboration with the Sr. Director and Architect, plus budget and vendor management.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years directly managing engineering leads or senior engineers.
• Experience leading multiple engineering teams or pods in ecommerce/retail.
• Strong full-stack background across React and Java.
• Experience with large-scale ecommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud or WebSphere Commerce.
• Track record of hiring, developing, and retaining top engineering talent.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum at scale (SAFe) and program management.
• Experience managing budgets and vendor/contractor relationships.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage eCommerce Engineers with coaching, performance management, and career development.
• Own workforce planning for the eCommerce engineering organization with Talent Acquisition partnership.
• Deliver end-to-end delivery across multiple pods, ensuring roadmap commitments are met on time and budget.
• Establish and mature program management practices: capacity, dependencies, risks across teams.
• Partner with the eCommerce Architect to ensure alignment with architecture, standards, and roadmaps.
• Maintain hands-on fluency across React, Java, and Salesforce/WebSphere Commerce to guide technical decisions.
• Champion AI-assisted development practices and modern tooling across the organization.
• Budget stewardship and vendor/contractor management for the eCommerce engineering org.
