Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Senior eCommerce Engineer to design, build, and own complex full-stack features on flooranddecor.com, operating with independence across the front-end, back-end, and platform layers. You will mentor junior engineers, optimize performance for high-traffic environments, and collaborate with product, design, and QA.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in React and modern front-end architecture, plus strong Java back-end development experience.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful/GraphQL APIs and third-party integrations.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own full-stack features spanning React front-end applications and back-end services/APIs.
• End-to-end feature ownership from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Design and build integrations between commerce platform and adjacent systems (OMS, payments, search, personalization).
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation and code reviews.
