Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. seeks a Sr. Manager, eCommerce Technology to lead the eCommerce engineering org, translating strategy into staffed, high-performing pods.

You will align staffing, delivery, and technical direction with the Sr. Director and Architect, while championing modern practices and AI-assisted tooling. You will guide a fast-moving team across React, Java, and large-scale platforms like SFCC or WebSphere, driving velocity and quality while partnering with cross-functional

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in engineering leadership.
• Experience leading multiple pods in ecommerce, retail, or digital environments.
• Strong background in React and Java for technical decision support.
• Experience with large-scale ecommerce platforms (SFCC, WebSphere).
• Proven ability to hire, develop, and retain top engineers.
• Familiarity with SAFe and large-scale Agile practices.
• Experience guiding AI-assisted development tools across an organization.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage eCommerce Engineers, coaching, performance management, and career development.
• Own workforce planning and build ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement culture.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery across multiple pods, meeting roadmap commitments on time and budget.
• Partner with Architect to align with architecture, standards, and platform roadmaps.
• Manage budgets, staffing plans, and vendor/contractor relationships.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and PM leadership to align capacity with priorities.
