Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Senior eCommerce Engineer to design, build, and own complex full-stack features across the flooranddecor.com platform. You will work across React front-end, Java back-end, and platform services, delivering scalable solutions with strong architectural judgment.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product, design, and QA, and contribute to design decisions, testing strategies, and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of professional software development experience with strong full-stack expertise.
• Advanced proficiency in React and modern front-end architecture, plus strong Java back-end development experience.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful/GraphQL APIs and third-party integrations.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and build complex, full-stack features spanning React front-end applications and back-end services/APIs.
• Own features end-to-end—from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release monitoring.
• Design and build integrations between the commerce platform and adjacent systems (OMS, payments, search, personalization).
• Mentor eCommerce Engineers through pairing, code reviews, and technical guidance.
