Job summary

pladis Global, a leading global biscuits and confectionery business, seeks a Demand Planner for eCommerce. This hybrid-remote role can be based in Reading, PA or White Plains, NY, and reports to the Manager, Demand and Inventory Management - eCommerce.

You will forecast demand, create inventory plans, and coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to optimize availability and profitability. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in demand planning, with strong Excel skills and formal

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in demand planning, forecasting, eCommerce planning, retail planning, or a related analytical planning function.
• Experience supporting eCommerce, retail, or similarly dynamic customer and channel environments preferred.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, Supply Planning, and/or Supply Chain Operations.
• Experience working with seasonal, promotional, and new product demand preferred.
• Demonstrated experience applying demand planning and forecasting principles in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the category- and item-level demand planning and forecasting process across assigned eCommerce channels.
• Develop sales and inventory plans aligned with channel objectives for sales, margin, in-stock performance.
• Develop pre-season and in-season forecasts using historical performance and demand signals.
• Review actual sales performance against forecast and identify trends and variances.
• Partner with Channel Leads, Marketing, and Merchandising to incorporate promotions and launches into the forecast.
• Collaborate with Supply Planning to translate demand forecasts into supply requirements.
