Job summary

pladis Global in the United States seeks a seasoned Demand Planner for eCommerce to own forecasting and inventory planning across major online channels. You will partner with Channel Leads, Supply Planning, Marketing, and Merchandising to translate commercial strategies into actionable forecasts and inventory requirements.

This role provides forward-looking insights into sales trends, inventory health, and promo planning, helping balance service, inventory, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or related analytics.
• Experience supporting eCommerce, retail, or dynamic channels preferred.
• Cross-functional experience with Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, and Supply Planning.
• Strong knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, and S&OP/IBP.

Responsibilities

• Own demand planning and forecasting across assigned eCommerce channels.
• Develop category- and item-level sales and inventory plans aligned with channel goals.
• Create pre-season and in-season forecasts using historical data and promotional plans.
• Review actuals vs forecast and identify trends and variances across horizons.
• Collaborate with Channel Leads, Marketing, and Merchandising to include promotions and launches in forecasts.
• Translate forecasts into supply requirements with Supply Planning.
• Monitor inventory health and prevent out-of-stocks and excess inventory.
• Support promotions like PWP and GWP with aligned demand planning.
