Community Action Corporation of South Texas is seeking a Program Director to lead the ECI program, coordinating staff, work plans, and collaboration with HHSC ECI. The role emphasizes monitoring, reporting, and ensuring program compliance across eleven counties.

The successful candidate will manage staff development, oversee expenditures, and represent the agency in meetings with state offices and local partners, ensuring high-quality services for children and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or closely related field.
• Coursework or training in early intervention, developmental psychology, educational leadership, or program management.
• Willingness to travel within the 11 counties.

Responsibilities

• Lead, evaluate, and support ECI Program staff.
• Oversee the ECI Program work plan and related areas (Referral, Screenings, Eligibility, IFSP, Service Delivery, Transition, Family outcomes, Family Cost Share, Outreach).
• Coordinate staff development and training programs (pre-service and in-service).
• Manage program reporting and monitoring.
• Represent the agency in communications with HHSC ECI and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate among divisions and local agencies for enrolled children and families.
• Monitor expenditures and program income monthly; ensure compliance with ECI policies.
