Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Senior Echocardiographer for a part-time position. The role performs Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and Doppler studies in the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR and ICU, including bedside work.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology (or equivalent), BLS, and ARDMS/RDCS/RCS certification within 12 months. At least 3 years of Echo experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent required.
• 3 years of Echo experience required.
• ARDMS/RDCS or RCS certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), and Doppler ultrasound.
• Work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and bedside with patients.
