Job summary

Northern Arizona Healthcare in Cottonwood, AZ, seeks an Echo Technician 2 to perform adult and pediatric echocardiography and related testing under supervision. ARDMS or CCI credentialing and BLS are required, with the ability to handle neonatal through geriatric patients and ensure accurate data collection.

This is a 40-hour-per-week position emphasizing quality imaging, data integrity, and teamwork in a clinical setting within a supportive cardiology program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• ARDMS or CCI certification within 6 months of hire, or graduates of an accredited cardiac ultrasound program must obtain credentialing.
• BLS certification required.
• RCCS: Pediatric and adult congenital cardiac ultrasound certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to prioritize orders by medical necessity and provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations.
• Ensures correct patient chart verification and proper procedure documentation for accurate interpretation.
• Performs testing procedures in a timely manner and provides data for interpretation.
• Maintains equipment and safety practices, reports safety incidents, and adheres to regulations and company policies.
• Keeps clinical competencies current and completes required training.
