Job summary

UCLA Outpatient Clinics in Beverly Hills, CA, seeks an experienced Echo Tech to join UCLA Cardiac Imaging. You will perform 2D, M-mode, and Doppler studies, support urgent readings, and help maintain echo records in a collaborative cardiology imaging team.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of direct cardiac sonography experience and ARDMS certification (AE RDCS or PE RDCS). The role emphasizes accuracy, timely communication, and quality patient care within UCLA Health.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of direct cardiac sonography experience.
• ARDMS registration in adult echocardiography (RDCS AE) or pediatric echocardiography (RDCS PE).

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D, M-mode, and Doppler studies including Stress echocardiogram, Pharmacological stress echocardiogram, and Transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Notify Cardiac Imaging Physicians for urgent, STAT and/or Pre-Operative Echo Readings.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of those studies.
• Prepare and maintain records pertinent to echo studies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by UCLA Cardiac Imaging Physicians, Manager, and Supervisor.
