Job summary

UCLA Health in Pasadena, CA seeks a Senior Echocardiographic Technician to perform 2D, M-mode, and Doppler studies including Stress and Transesophageal echocardiograms. Requires at least three years of direct cardiac sonographer experience and ARDMS registration in AE RDCS or PE RDCS.

You will coordinate with Cardiac Imaging Physicians, Managers and Supervisors to ensure accurate readings and proper record maintenance. Salary range: $65.18–$86.03 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have at least three years of direct cardiac sonographer experience.
• Registered through ARDMS in adult echocardiography (AE RDCS) or pediatric echocardiography (PE RDCS).

Responsibilities

• Perform 2-dimensional, M-mode, and Doppler studies including Stress echocardiogram and Pharmacological stress echocardiogram.
• Perform Transesophageal echocardiograms and prepare preliminary interpretations.
• Maintain records pertinent to echo studies and notify physicians for urgent readings.
