Job summary

UCLA Health in Beverly Hills, CA is seeking a Senior Echocardiographic Technician to perform comprehensive echocardiography studies and support the Cardiac Imaging team. The role requires ARDMS RDCS certification, BCLS, and at least three years of direct cardiac sonography experience.

You will work with physicians, nurses, and staff to deliver high‑quality imaging and timely interpretations. The position is onsite with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Cardiac Echocardiography Technology Program.
• (ARDMS) in adult cardiac echocardiography (AE) RDCS.
• Basic cardiac life support (BCLS).
• 3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
• Ability to apply ultrasound technique to the clinical evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2‑D, M‑mode, and Doppler studies including stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Notify Cardiac Imaging Physicians for urgent, STAT and pre‑operative readings.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of those studies.
• Prepare and maintain records pertinent to echo studies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by UCLA Cardiac Imaging team.
