Qualifications

• Graduate of Cardiac Echocardiography Technology Program.
• ARDMS AE/RDCS certification.
• BCLS certification.
• 3 years of direct cardiac sonographer experience.
• Ability to interpret and document echocardiography findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D, M-mode, and Doppler studies including stress and pharmacological stress echocardiograms.
• Notify Cardiac Imaging Physicians for urgent or pre-operative reads.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation and written reports.
• Maintain records for echo studies and administer billing related tasks.
• Work with physicians, staff, and patients in a professional, timely manner.
