Job summary

KinderCare Education is hiring a Sr. Teacher to lead curriculum delivery, mentor teachers, and create a safe, nurturing classroom environment. You will partner with families to support each child's growth and work with leadership to drive center success.

Qualifications

• 6 months of center-based ECE experience.
• Meet & maintain state-specific supervision requirements.
• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Able to see/hear well to keep children safe and engage in activity.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with children and parents.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with each child's needs.
• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for children.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners.
