Job summary

Felton Institute is hiring a Teacher Assistant Float to support early care and education programs in San Francisco. You will assess and implement developmental goals for children with special needs, collaborate on curriculum adaptations, and document progress with guidance from Lead Teacher.

Responsibilities include working with parents, attending meetings, maintaining records, and providing a warm, nurturing environment that promotes learning and growth for all children.

Qualifications

• Must be a High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must hold State of California Commission of Teacher Credentialing Assistant Permit or high.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with teaching staff to develop a comprehensive program.
• Provide individualized and small group instruction to meet children’s needs.
• Supervise children at all times and ensure safety and proper conduct.
• Record keeping and communication with parents and staff.
