Humanoid in Massachusetts is expanding its Core Platform Electrical team to hire an ECAD Librarian who will own and grow the Altium component library for our humanoid platform. You will manage schematic symbols, footprints, and data across multiple sites, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability in fast-moving hardware environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with Altium Designer schematic library and PCB footprint creation.
• Strong attention to detail—verify pin counts, pad geometry, and package dimensions.
• Familiarity with component lifecycle/PLM concepts and traceability.
• Understanding of standard component conventions and approved alternates.
• Experience working with distributed teams (Boston and London).
• Bonus: experience with PLM/ERP integration (Teamcenter or similar).
• Bonus: startup hardware exposure and library hygiene building.

Responsabilités

• Own the Altium component library: create, validate, and maintain symbols, footprints, and 3D models.
• Enforce library standards and naming conventions for passives, ICs, and mechanical items.
• Manage part status workflow (Draft → Preliminary → Production) in Altium.
• Verify manufacturer part numbers, alternates, and attach data to library parts.
• Support where-used traceability for components, symbols, and footprints.
• Coordinate with EE designers across Boston and London to address requests.
• Assist PLM alignment with Teamcenter and ERP systems.
• Lead bulk library cleanup and standardization efforts.
• Document library rules and statuses in Confluence.
