Job summary

Qualifications

Extensive heavy civil earthwork and grading experience.
Experience as Superintendent, General Foreman, or Dirt Foreman.
Strong knowledge of mass excavation, cut/fill, compaction, subgrade, and fine grading.
Ability to read plans, cross-sections, elevations and grades.
Experience with GPS/machine-control grading systems.
Proven ability to manage multiple crews and foremen.
Strong planning, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead earthwork and grading operations on heavy civil projects.
Coordinate Foremen, crews, equipment, trucking, and daily production.
Ensure work meets project plans, specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
Uphold safety expectations.
