Job summary

Mitigation Resources is seeking an experienced Construction Earthwork Estimator to price excavation, grading and other earthmoving work from conception through completion. The role requires analyzing blueprints, site conditions and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineers, contractors and clients, perform risk assessments, travel to sites up to 30% of the time, and maintain high standards of safety and quality while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• P.E. license preferred but not required.
• 5+ years direct experience in excavation/grading industry, estimating or construction management.

Responsibilities

• Assess project risk and decision to bid.
• Conduct risk analyses and produce reports.
• Forecasts using data & metrics.
• Visit construction sites for information gathering.
• Interpret proposals, specs, drawings, and documents.
• Coordinate bid processes with vendors/subcontractors.
